Day 1

This fabuolous half day tour takes you around all the most important sites of Cusco. Including visits to Cusco’s Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the various Inca sites found outside of the city you get to see an incredible mixture of Inca and Spanish-style and in the case of Qoricancha, the two combined. Cusco is truly a fascinating place to visit; providing a blend of the two cultures (Inca and Spanish) the city has a look and feel about it that is completely different to the rest of Peru. Day 2

DSC_0023With colourful markets, ornate colonial architecture and fascinating Inca ruins, Cuzco is a city well worth getting to know. Journey into the Sacred Valley, taking in the spectacular views of deep river gullies and maize crop terraces carved high into the valley walls. The town of Pisac, with its impressive Inca ruins and traditional marketplace, makes for an attractive stop-off. Jump on the late afternoon train to Aguas Calientes, and take the chance to visit the hot springs that lend the town its name.

Day 3 Machu Picchu/Cuzco

DSC_0024Join a guided tour of the architectural and historical marvel that is Machu Picchu. The first glimpse of the famed ruins coming into view is an experience that is bound to stay with you forever. Spend time wandering the site, learning about the culture and history of this wonder. Catch an afternoon train back in time to explore the quaint town of Ollantaytambo before returning to Cuzco, where this short and sweet trip comes to an end. Lunch en Aguas Caliente
